1726%, made for inclusion in the Neuberger Museums of Art's 1997 outdoor sculpture exhibition, is exactly that: a 1726% enlargement of a household steam iron. Made from the hull of a discarded fiberglass sale boat, and  two dozen rubber tires, It stands approximately 20 feet tall.
